OPIA, Inc. ("OPIA," "we," "us") provides an eSource platform for ophthalmology clinical trials. This page describes, at a high level, how data submitted to the platform is handled.
Data collected: subject visit data entered by site coordinators (BCVA, OCT measurements, visit metadata) and coordinator account information (name, email).
Data use: data is used solely to operate the platform for the site(s) that entered it, and is not sold or shared with third parties outside of the infrastructure providers necessary to run the service (database hosting, authentication).
Data security: data is encrypted in transit and at rest by the underlying infrastructure provider. Access is restricted to authenticated site personnel.
